摘要

An endoscope system, apparatus and method for exploring obscured portions of the human cavities. The system includes an endoscope instrument, an imaging apparatus and a human apparatus interface. The endoscope includes a tip assembly complementary to natural orifices, which is connected to a working shaft of different elasticity and attached to an intuitive and ergonomic handle. The tip assembly includes a plurality of ports and an extension of the working channel so as to facilitate the entrance thereof, protect the body tissues and the optical image collector. The shaft assembly includes an active flexible segment connected to a passive flexible segment and to a semi rigid or rigid segment. An intuitive (instinctive perception) and ergonomic handle is connected to the shaft, both working in an integral and coherent manner. The method for observing the obscured portion of the human cavity includes steps and guidelines to be followed for providing an instrument which has a shaft segme nt with different elasticity and an active flexible distal end portion, where said segment is manipulated to the required angular deflection.
