摘要

The microwave oscillator of high spectral purity is based on a dielectric resonator which has a high quality factor and which is excited under a traveling wave regime. The oscillator uses a combined frequency stabilization scheme, which includes the implementation of a frequency discriminator of high efficiency, which output signal is used for the feedback and suppression of the oscillator phase noise generated by the active elements found in the main bond thereof. The frequency discriminator is based on a technique well known as carrier suppression for which, unlike current techniques, the same physical structure is used, this latter including a traveling wave resonator useful in the main bond of the oscillator. The additional components, such as: circulators, insulators or microwave bridges, used in the current patented devices, are not required in the present invention.
