The system has a wire strip formed by a set of ribbons of amorphous metallic alloy, where the strip has a width three times larger than the thickness of the wire strip. The wire strip is heated by supplying electricity to the wire strip, such that uniform warming occurs in the soil. The wire strip has a width of about 2 to 200 mm, where the ribbons are placed at different distances. The heating capacity of the wire strip differs with the distance between the ribbons, where the electrical properties of the strip is influenced by combinations of serial and parallel connection of the ribbons. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for heating roads, bridges, and subways (2) a laying system for laying ribbons for forming an asphalt heating system (3) a method for laying ribbons.
