The method involves using a device for capturing, moving and placing a strip (3) of flexible material i.e. rubber material. A holding unit (4) is provided to hold the strip. A cutting device cuts off the strip along a cutting line, where the cutting device includes blades (5, 6). A breaker is constructed by a number of cut strips in succession to drain sites. A usage direction is identical to a direction of flow. The blades are placed on a free selectable distance from a drain area.
