Nebulizer formulation comprising levalbuterol and ipratroprium

Disclosed is the use of a formulation comprising levalbuterol and ipratropium in a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier in the manufacture of a medicament for the treatment of COPD or asthma wherein the medicament is suitable for administration via a nebuliser ampoule containing not more that 2.2ml of said formulation. Also disclosed is a kit comprising:(I) an ampoule, containing a single unit dose of 2.2 ml or less in volume of a therapeutically effective amount of levalbuterol and ipratropium, and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier; and (2) instructions on how the dose is to be used.
