The invention relates to a process for rendering the heat transfer processes efficient in the classical electric furnaces, for the thermal treatment at medium temperatures, used for improving properties of both ferrous and non-ferrous alloys. According to the invention, the process consists in securing an electric furnace having inside a ventilation system (1) and mounting two radiating panels (2) on the interior lateral walls, opposed to the furnace, the mounting of each of the two radiating panels (2) on a lateral wall of the furnace being performed by means of a sliding mechanism (5) which provides the possibility of adjusting the inclination of the radiating panels (2) in relation to the furnace hearth (6).
