ECO-PANELS OF CROSS TEXTURE MADE OF BRANCHES OF DECIDUOUS TREES, METHOD AND PROCESS FOR MAKING THE SAME

The invention relates to a panel and a process for making the same. According to the invention the panel is made of friezes which are cross cut from linear blocks obtained by successively assembling, by glueing, some prisms of resinous tree branches having a diameter of 3...12 cm. The claimed process consists in drying the branches with bark down to a humidity of 12%, cutting prisms therefrom by face/edge smooth planing, resawing and thickness planing, glueing by the application of an ecological adhesive on the prisms, assembling the prisms and pressing them in a linear block, conditioning, calibrating and cutting the linear block, applying the ecological adhesive on the cross friezes obtained by the cross cut of the linear block, assembling the panel and pressing it, conditioning and calibrating the resulting panel.
