METHOD FOR OSTEOPLASTY OF COMBINED DEFECT AFTER SEGMENTAL REJECTION OF LONG BONE IN CHRONIC TRAUMATIC OSTEOMYELITIS

A method for osteoplasty of the combined defect after the segmental rejection of the long bone in the chronic traumatic osteomyelitis comprises sequestronecrectomy of the segmental rejection type, extrafocal transosteal osteosynthesis with wire-and-rod apparatus, the osteotomy of tibia, the treatment of the walls of the bone cavity with antiseptic, and the filling of the cavity with the plastic material containing medical polyurethane adhesive. Prior to using the plastic material, the defect is filled with antiseptic, the volume of the defect is measured, and the defect is filled with the mixture of the medical polyurethane adhesive and antibiotic.
