METHOD FOR PREDICTING RISK OF STROKE AFTER TRANSITORY ISCHEMIC ATTACK

A method for predicting the risk of the stroke after the transitory ischemic attack provides for accounting the age, the arterial blood pressure, the clinical signs, the presence of diabetes mellitus. Furthermore, the presence of the new focus of the cerebral ischemia of the corresponding vascular basin after the transitory ischemic attack is assessed taking into account the visualization findings. The maximal score is calculated. The score of 5-7 points is indicative of the high risk of the stroke, the score of 3-4 points suggests the moderate risk, and the score of 0-2 points small risk.
