METHOD FOR DIAGNOSING EDEMATOUS SYNDROME OF LOWER LIMBS IN ACUTE LYMPHO-VENOUS INSUFFICIENCY AND ASSESSING TREATMENT EFFICACY

A method for diagnosing the edematous syndrome of the lower limbs in the acute lympho-venous insufficiency and assessing the treatment efficacy provides for calculating the index of the edematous syndrome as the ratio between the circumferences of the affected limb and the contralateral limb. When the index exceeds unity, the edematous syndrome is diagnosed. The index is assessed on the course of the treatment for assessing its efficacy.
