A method for selecting the force intensity in orthodontic treatment depending on the level of the bone support of the tooth comprises the assessment of the mechanical characteristics of the system tooth – bone tissue, the mechanical parameters of the arch, the height of the displacement, and the height of the adjacent bone tissue. The force intensity is calculated with the aid of Comsol Multiphysic software representing the complex of the finite element procedure. The arch is selected according to the calculated force intensity.
