A method for identification of the guttural nerve from other tissues of surgical wound at carrying out of surgeries on thyroid gland by irritation of tissues with the permanent alternating current of 0.5-2 A, of fixed frequency, for which small conductivity of the electric signal with muscular tissues and high conductivity of electric signal with the guttural nerve on the muscles controlling the tension of vocal chords, with the subsequent registration of reduction of vocal chords on the given frequency by the sound sensor installed in the respiratory tube is provided, placed in patient throat, with its subsequent transformation to the electric signal. A target information signal is determined on variation of current amplitude of given frequency.
