The invention relates to radio-location meteorology, in particular to radio-acoustic methods for measurement of parameters of atmosphere, and can be used at compilation of short-term weather forecasts, at meteorological provision of ecologic monitoring of atmosphere and safety of take-off and landing of aircrafts for different purposes, at compilation of radio-climate maps, etc. The method of remote registration of vertical profile of air temperature with radio-acoustic sounding of atmosphere is in fact that one radiates vertically upwards an acoustic pulse with sinusoidal filling, one radiates acoustic pulse with electromagnetic vibrations with wavelength twice larger than wavelength of sinusoidal filling of acoustic pulse. One receives electromagnetic oscillations reflected from acoustic pulses, with separation of signals with frequency of Doppler shift of reflected by acoustic pulses electromagnetic oscillations, one determines frequencies of Doppler shift for each point of track, by values of those one calculates values of air temperature for all the points of the track. At that envelope line of acoustic pulse is formed as sin x/x, where x=kt, k coefficient that determines duration of pulse, t- current time. The invention increases accuracy of registration of vertical profile of air temperature with radio-acoustic sounding and increases efficiency of registration of vertical profile of air temperature.
