The invention relates to medicine, in particular to adenotome construction, and can be used for removal of adenoid vegetations. The adenotome consists of a handle and operational portion with an edge, the operational portion of the adenotome is made from two metal plates between which it a dielectric is located, proximal ends of the isolated metal plates are connected by wires to contact pins of plug socket for connection of the high-frequency current from a power supply and warming up of biological tissues, and the handle is made as a hollow cylinder, and the edge of the operational portion of the adenotome is made of a composite alloy and contains two components with a dielectric between them. As composit alloy Cu-Mo alloy is used. The invention provides the prevention of bleeding at adenotomy.
