The invention relates to metallurgy, and can be used at producing billets by rolling from continuously cast ingots. In carrying out rolling-separation rolled bars from continuously cast ingot with a liquation zone are fed into rolls with ridges and trapezoid or triangular depressions of certain dimensions are formed. Then the resulting rolled bars are fed into a multiple pass, in which three blanks are formed which are interconnected by tabs. Reduction of the middle blank with liquation zone located in it in the pass, where the final thickness of the tab is formed, does not happen. The invention makes it possible to create conditions for localization of the liquation zone in the middle blank and to produce the end blanks with high quality of macro- and microstructure.
