Method for re-activation of non-mining flank of deep open-pit. Development of opening is carried out with steeply dipping layer, working site is displaced from daylight to overlying rock with bottom-bench arrangement with total working-out of each bench across the width of steeply dipping layer in direction from virgin rock massif to the worked out one. Working out of first from above bench by soft rocks is carried out with dragline, rail track is arranged on daylight out of boundaries of steeply dipping layer at side of virgin rock massif. By the lower boundary of the first bench at side of virgin rock massif along the section of re-activation with that very dragline one penetrates cut trench to depth of the second bench, rail track to that bench is arranged at the bottom of the trench, after that with shovel one works out with cuts the second bench with respective displacement of rail track.
