TRANSPORT CARRIAGE ELEMENTS EACH COMPRISE A LARGE NUMBER OF TRANSPORT UNITS (8) FOR RECEIVING A RESPECTIVE COMPONENT (3), A RECEIVING REGION (25) FOR RECEIVING AT LEAST ONE COMPONENT (3) BY WAY OF A RESPECTIVE TRANSPORT UNIT (8) BEING PROVIDED AT THE ENTRY (E) TO THE TRANSPORT PATH (2) AND A REMOVAL REGION (27) FOR REMOVING THE COMPONENTS (3) FROM THE TRANSPORT UNITS (8) BEING PROVIDED AT THE EXIT (A) FROM THE LINEAR TRANSPORT PATH (2). AT THE ENTRY THE LINEAR TRANSPORT SYSTEMS ALSO COMPRISES A LINEAR MOTOR UNIT (20), COMPRISING AN ADVANCING ELEMENT (21), FOR LINEARLY DRIVING THE TRANSPORT CARRIAGE ELEMENTS (4.1, 4.7) IN THE TRANSPORT DIRECTION (FR) VIA THE ADVANCING ELEMENT AND A RETURN UNIT (32) FOR RETURNING AT LEAST ONE TRANSPORT CARRIAGE ELEMENT (4.7) FROM THE EXIT (A) TO THE ENTRY (E) OF THE TRANSPORT PATH (2). THE RETURN UNIT (32) IS CONSTRUCTED FOR REMOVAL AT THE EXIT FROM THE TRANSPORT RAIL (5), FOR RETURNING THE REMOVED TRANSPORT CARRIAGE ELEMENTS (4.7) FROM THE EXIT (A) TO THE ENTRY (E) AND FOR REPLACING THE RETURNED TRANSPORT CARRIAGE ELEMENT (4.7) AT THE ENTRY TO THE TRANSPORT RAIL (5).
