The method involves producing light in a defined period in advance, which is in reference to its spectral combination and intensity, that it does not inhibits a distribution of the hormone melatonin of an observer of the light. The spectral composition of the produced light is selected depending on a specified time-scheme of the actuation. The time of sun set and the sun rise are used for determination of the defined periods. An independent claim is also included for a lamp with which light can be produced in different spectral compositions.
