Method for automatically feeding metal profiles in bar form in machines for working said profiles, comprising the steps of: (a). gripping a group of profiles (2) metal bar form or their end from a magazine (5) to accumulate said profiles (2); (B). transferring said group of profiles (2) metal bar-shaped or its end to a raised position; (C). arranging said profiles (2) metal bar form on a device (10) provided with transfer means (16) for separating said profiles (2) metal; (D). transferring said transverse profiles (2) metal rod shaped and simultaneously counting a preset number of metal profiles (2) to be fed to the machine at each work cycle; (and). unloading the excess profiles (2) metal in said reservoir (5) for collecting the proceeding; (F). automatically start the normal working cycle of the machine to execute the desired metal profiles (2) selected job; (G). optionally moving the machine and said tank (5) for collecting a relative to the other in order to collect profiles (2) metal from a different storage unit; (H). start a new cycle optional work.
