The casket has a foldable panel (21) extended towards a posterior end of a box (1) and folded through a hinge (22) fixed to an intermediate part of a base (2) of the box. An interior support element (31) is located at a posterior lateral wall (3) of the box. A surface of the element includes support units (33) to support an extreme edge of the panel. The panel is inclined to lift the head and an upper part of a body of a deceased person in a usage position. The panel is located horizontally such that the person is positioned flatly, in a rest position. The panel is operated by a handle (24).
