Nutritive or pharmaceutical composition comprising: a) - a protein fraction containing L-serine selected from the group consisting of L-serine, protein or peptides; and b) - a precursor of the energy metabolism selected from glycocylamine (GA), equivalents and mixtures thereof, for their equivalents, that is: - compounds that provide GA in the blood plasma after oral consumption and that are selected from guanidino acid- acetic acid, sodium, potassium, calcium, ammonium, magnesium, zinc, iron, copper, chromium salts and mixtures and / or GA bidentate with zinc up to a maximum of 100 mg of zinc per daily dose of the total composition, - ester and / or ether compounds that can be metabolized to guanidino acetate in the intestine or body, and compounds where the GA amidine group is modified by protonation and thus forms a salt, where the composition is free of glycine or if glycine is present within of the composition, the weight ratio of L-serine to glycine after hydrolysis of the composition is greater than 2.7: 1.
