The warp knitting machine, comprises a machine body (2) and axially running carrier shaft (4, 5, 6) for knitting tool lever, which is in rotatable position and which is fixed immovable in relation to a machine component (3) of the machine body in axial direction. The carrier shaft is connected with the machine component in axial direction via a torsion rod (11, 12, 13). The torsion rod is formed from elastic material and spring steel. The torsion rod effects within the region of a middle axis of the carrier shaft. The warp knitting machine, comprises a machine body (2) and axially running carrier shaft (4, 5, 6) for knitting tool lever, which is in rotatable position and which is fixed immovable in relation to a machine component (3) of the machine body in axial direction. The carrier shaft is connected with the machine component in axial direction via a torsion rod (11, 12, 13). The torsion rod is formed from elastic material and spring steel. The torsion rod effects within the region of a middle axis of the carrier shaft. The torsion rod has a length, which is 10 times of its largest diameter and a circular cross section. The torsion rod is positively actuated or unsolvably connected with the carrier shaft. The torsion rod is connected with a cup-shaped reception, which is set on an end of the carrier shaft. Fastening means effects through a circumference wall of the reception of the carrier shaft. The torsion rod is connected with a supporting surface, which is adjustable relatively to the machine component. The supporting surface is supported at the machine component via spring and a clamping device is intended, which clamps the supporting surface against the strength of the spring at the machine component. The supporting surface is supported at the machine component in a distance to the spring pivotable via a support. The torsion rod between the spring and the support is connected with the supporting surface. The torsion rod is connected with a pattern gear, which is arranged at an end of the warp knitting machine.
