Teeth whitening composition comprising photocatalytic titanium dioxide in an amount of 0.001 to 10% by weight based on the weight of the composition, hydrogen peroxide or a chemical compound that can generate hydrogen peroxide in an aqueous solution and a thickening agent in an amount of 1 to 5% by weight based on the weight of the composition, the composition having a viscosity in a range of 1 to 100 Pa.s (1,000 to 100,000 centipoise), and in which the thickening agent is a mineral of layered structure clay.
