The invention is an endodontichandpiece, its control system and method ofuse for rotating an endodontic file to clean aroot canal. The invention control system providesfor rotating a file clockwise or counter-clockwisethrough a desired first arc of rotationand, next, sequentially rotating said instrumentin the opposite direction of the first arc of rotationthrough a second arc of rotation, whereinthe first arc of rotation exceeds the second arcof rotation such that sequentially occurring rotationscause debris material removed in cleaningsaid canal to be ejected upwardly from saidclean surfaces as such file is advanced in cleaningsaid canal.
