METHODS OF CALCULATING THE POSITION OF A GNSS RECEIVER FROM TWO-FREQUENCY AND SINGLE-FREQUENCY PSEUDO-MEASUREMENTS

The method of determination of the position of a mobilereceiver using at least four satellites of which atleast one first satellite transmits a first signal onone frequency, the broadcasting of the first signalbeing single-frequency, and of which at least onesecond satellite transmits second and third signalsrespectively on a first and a second frequency, thebroadcasting of the signals being two-frequency, thereceiver including means for reception of at least twofrequencies, makes it possible to determine theposition by a calculation of at least fourpseudo--distances corresponding to the distances between eachsatellite and the receiver.The calculation of a pseudo-distance at the firstfrequency includes a step of estimation of theinter--frequency bias between the first and secondfrequencies.
