The present invention relates to acooking hob (10) with at least two one-piecefas-tening elements (20) arranged at outer portionsof the cooking hob (10). The fastening element(20) comprises a first portion (22) beingperma-nently connected or connectable to an upper part(12) of the cooking hob (10). The fasteningele-ment (20) comprises a second portion (24) beingdetachably connected or connectable to a lowerpart (14) of the cooking hob (10), so that theup-per part (12) and the lower part (14) form thecooking hob (10). The second portion (24) ofthe fastening element (20) comprises at least onespring element (26) at a sidewall of the cookinghob (10) in order to clamp the cooking hob (10)within a cutout (34) enclosing circumf erentiallythe cooking hob (10). At least two fasteningelements (20) are arranged at opposite sidewalls ofthe cooking hob (10). Further, the presentinven-tion relates to a one-piece fastening element.
