The present invention provides an apparatus and method for editing map data in a 3-dimensional map service. The modeling data editing apparatus for a 3-dimensional map service comprises a selection unit that selects the ID of the item to be edited from the map data, and an editing unit that edits the modeling data corresponding to said selected ID on the 3-dimensional map.
