OUTER BOX FOR HOUSING INNER BAG FOR BAG-IN-BOX, AND BAG-IN-BOX

An outer box for housing an inner bag for a bag-in-box having a spout, comprising a strip body portion formed to have a front plate constituted to permit the attaching of a spout, a back plate and side plates coupling the front and back plates, a pair of inner flaps and a pair of outer flaps for forming an upper lid, and a pair of inner flaps and a pair of outer flaps for forming a bottom lid, wherein the outer box is provided with notched corners on the front side and the bottom lid side of a pair of the side plates and constituted to facilitate an operation for tilting the entire box to the front side by forming a slope on the bottom lid side of the front plate while a bending junction piece is interposed at a position on the bottom lid side where the front plate and an inner flap for the bottom lid are connected.  Consequently, liquid still left in the inner bag for a bag-in-box after pouring can be reduced drastically although the reducing could not be attained easily in the prior art.
