The amplifier has a first stage (10) with a first input terminal for the input signal, a second input terminal and an output terminal. There is a second stage (20) with an input terminal connected to the first stage's output terminal and an output terminal providing the main output signal. A feedback branch (40) is connected from the second stage output terminal to the second input terminal of the first stage. A noise source (30) has an output terminal connected to the input terminal of the second stage.
