A control device (1) of an electronically controlled petrol internal combustion engine (2) adapted for alternate operation with liquefied gas or petrol, wherein all known standardised assemblies are used and further remain unchanged all original sensors (4). Further additional gas injectors (6) are arranged with a suction collector (8) next to petrol injectors (6a) and wherein during engine operation on petrol only said unchanged original control unit (3) is used, wherein during the use of gas as fuel a switch (11) switches off the operation of petrol injectors (6a) and switches on the operation of gas injectors (6), wherein a signal runs to supplemental control unit (5), which in a process step for the same ignition takes a correction constant into consideration.
