Spacer for the post of a road or motorway crash barrier

The spacer (E) has a fixation part (1c) for fixing it with a handrail and a plate (1d) for fixing it with a post. The plate is mounted between two fixed wings (1a, 1b) and a vertical folding (1e) absorbs effect of shock on the handrail. The plate has a split (1d1) defining upper and lower fixing zones (1d2, 1d3). The plate permits a rotation of the spacer with respect to the post under the effect of shock.
