Disclosed is an imbalance reduction circuit equipped with: a temperature-related information collection unit that obtains temperature-related information that is related to the temperatures of multiple accumulators; a discharge unit that performs an equalization process whereby the multiple accumulators are respectively discharged until the terminal voltages of the respective accumulators are essentially the same; and an equalization control unit that prohibits the discharge unit from performing the equalization process when the temperature-related information obtained by the temperature-related information collection unit meets a low-temperature condition that has been set as a condition that causes the discharge performance of the multiple accumulators to decrease.
