The present invention relates to a method of providing a communication function for a communication group and a mobile communication terminal and a presence server for the same. The invention comprises: a storage unit that stores a communication program for registering the communication group, a display unit that outputs the communication program, a key input unit that receives key input or a command, and a controller that displays user icons registered for the communication group by executing the communication program, outputs an icon list of communication functions for the users selected from the communication group, and communicates with a selected user when selecting a specific communication function from the updated icon list of communication functions in which a function added or changed in a communication function editing mode is reflected in the icon list of communication functions.
