Provided is a method of positioning a wireless terminal, by which the location of each communication terminal can be obtained by making installed communication terminals measure the distance between these communication terminals without installing a base station at a fixed location. A positioning management terminal (100) is equipped with a section (130) for determining a wireless terminal to be measured for location which selects, from among wireless terminals (200), a terminal to be measured for location and a reference terminal for which the location is known, a positioning management section (120) which requests the information relating to the distance between the terminal to be measured for location and the reference terminal, and a location calculating section (140) for calculating the location of the terminal to be measured for location. The positioning management section (120) requests the terminal to be measured for location, which has been selected by the section (130), for the information relating to the distance between the terminal to be measured for location and the reference terminal selected by the section (130). The location calculating section (140) calculates the location of the terminal to be measured for location using the information relating to the distance and the positional information relating to the reference terminal.
