A busbar (1) designed as a flat profile is proposed, comprising two or more partial conductor rails disposed parallel with one another in the longitudinal direction (L) of the busbar and electrically separate from one another. A plurality of recesses (3) are provided at at least one narrow side (A, US) of the respective partial conductor rails (2), said recesses distributed in the longitudinal direction (L) of the busbar. The recesses (3) each have an expanded cross sectional area inside the partial conductor rails (2) for latching a geometric contact spring element (5) tailored to match the recesses (3).
