This invention relates to bituminous compositions and the production of asphalt mixtures at reduced temperatures, wherein the bituminous composition comprises at least one additive and is aged for a given period of time. The asphalt mixtures have significantly enhanced performances, making said asphalt mixtures easier to lay off and compact. The invention also relates to applications of said asphalts mixtures in waterproofing, construction or maintenance of sidewalks, roads, highways, parking lots or airport runways and service roads as well as any rolling surfaces.
