The distributor flap (3) is rotatably arranged around a rotational axis in a air passage housing (2), where the flap regulates the air distribution on a set of air channels (ME, SE, MD, SD) running out from the air passage housing, where the air channel (SE) serves for side disk defrosting and the air channel (ME) serves for front disk defrosting. The distributor flap releases a minimum opening through the air channel (SE) for side disk defrosting in an operating condition of the flap, in which the hot air is supplied to the vehicle inner area. An independent claim is also included for a method for regulating a motor vehicle air conditioning system.
