The aim of the invention is to reduce the circulation of wake turbulences behind an airplane that takes off or lands. For this purpose, annular turbulences (9) are generated on the ground (4) at both sides of the airplane which annular turbulences are oriented at an angle to the ground (4) and interfere with the vortex turbulences in order to induce the dissipation thereof.
