OFDMA WIRELESS COMMUNICATION APPARATUS, AND METHOD FOR GENERATING LEARNING SIGNAL TO BE USED FOR THAT WIRELESS COMMUNICATION APPARATUS TO COMPENSATE FOR NONLINEAR DISTORTIONS

An OFDMA wireless communication apparatus comprises a radio transmitting unit in which a transmission amplifier amplifies a transport signal; and a distortion compensating unit that generates, based on a learning signal, a distortion compensation coefficient data to be used to compensate for a nonlinear distortion of the transmission amplifier and that multiplies an OFDMA signal by the distortion compensation coefficient data and inputs the resultant transport signal to the radio transmitting unit.  The OFDMA wireless communication apparatus further comprises a MAC unit that generates and inserts, as a burst signal, the learning signal into a burst region to which the burst signal in an OFDMA frame can be assigned, thereby generating an OFDMA frame data; and a PHY unit that converts the OFDMA frame data into the OFDMA signal of a frequency direction in accordance with an OFDMA transmission mode established in the wireless communication apparatus and inputs the OFDMA signal to the distortion compensating unit.
