Method for determining passing zones in rural areas

The method involves digitally processing a portion of network elements e.g. motorway or express way sections. The processing step is carried out by passing each section and corresponding attributes to identify the section corresponding to route zones with double roadway in a rural environment, where the section has continuous length higher than given threshold, authorized maximum speed higher than speed applied to an ordinary route, sufficient consequence level, and the sections are not on a motorway or express way to simulate passing zones at each section corresponding to a set of criterions. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a software comprising a set of program codes for implementing a method for determining passing zones in rural areas for a digital routing network (2) a guiding device for a road vehicle providing visual information guiding along a given route between a departure point and an arrival point to a user.
