A cooking device (1) specifically, but not just, for making kebabs, comprising a cooking group (20) comprising a take-off shaft (24) rotating around the horizontal rotation axis (X) of the power take-off and a stem (22) connected to the take-off shaft (24) to be driven in rotation around a vertical rotation axis (Z), perpendicular to the horizontal rotation axis (X). The device also comprises a transmission holder box (26), an oven tray (40), a lower flange (50) and specifically for making, but not only, shish kebabs, an upper flange (70) and skewers (80).
