The device for evaluating an individual's cutaneous sensitivity to vibrations comprises a box container (1) housing the components of the device (100). An axially-slidable piston (5) exits from an opening (1) in the container (5), which piston (5) is partially. mounted internally of the container. The device (100) also includes first and second solenoid electromagnetic actuators (20 and 21) which are connected to the piston (5) via a bracket (7) and are destined to move the piston (5), on command of a programmable control unit (10), alternatively between an advanced position (A) and a retracted position (B) of the piston (5) according to sequences and time parameters defined by the control unit (10).
