ROUTING AGING METHOD, APPARATUS AND ROUTER BASED ON BORDER GATEWAY PROTOCOL

A routing aging method, an apparatus and a router based on border gateway protocol (BGP) are provided. Wherein the routing aging method based on BGP includes that: after a BGP distribution point restarts, the routing request messages are transmitted to the BGP neighbors, the BGP neighbors are the BGP neighbors which have the capabilities of aging routes in the case that the neighbors do not disconnect; the BGP distribution point receives the routes that are transmitted by the BGP neighbors according to the routing request messages, and performs routing processing on the received routes; the BGP distribution point transmits the processed routes to the BGP neighbors, so that the BGP neighbors perform routing aging according to the received routes. The above scheme can realize the update of the routes stored in the BGP neighbors in the case that the neighbors do not disconnect.
