BROADCAST TRANSCEIVER AND PCMCIA SCRAMBLER WITH RECEPTION LIMITATION FUNCTION IMPLEMENTED BY USING DVB-CI INTERFACE

The present invention relates to a broadcast transceiver with reception limitation function implemented by using simple module and comprises: a demodulator which demodulates a broadcast signal inputted; a PCMCIA scrambler module of DVB-CI standard which is inserted in a CI interface slot and scrambles at least a part of broadcast signal in a MPEG2 transport stream in the demodulated broadcast signal; a modulator which modulates the scrambled broadcast signal. Additionally, the invention provides a PCMCIA scrambler comprising: a control word generator that generates a CW required for encoding; a scrambler that scrambles TS (Transport Stream) inputted by the CW; a control CPU that controls to load the configuration information on TS after receiving the configuration information, which regulates the limitation information concerning each broadcast, from outside; an encoding engine and table generator that encodes the CW after reception and also generates a table for each broadcast signal according to the configuration information; a packet modifier that modifies PMT table of TS from the scrambler according to the encoded CW and configuration information table.
