The present disclosure proposes a method and system for uplink scheduling using weighted QoS parameters. A decision on scheduling priority of an active connection of a mobile station can be made based on a metric that comprises QoS parameters and current traffic measurements. Weight factors may be applied for every QoS parameter per schedule type. After getting a list of connection of a mobile station and a list of QoS parameters per connection with associated weight factors (610), a QoS metric is calculated (620) per connection based on the weight factors of the corresponding QoS parameters and a traffic status metric for that connection. A scheduling order of all connections in then determined (630) accordingly to the calculated QoS metrics.
