Provided is an event distribution system wherein a bottleneck on the system can be eliminated by reducing the load on a rendezvous node.  The event distribution system is provided with publisher nodes, subscriber nodes, the rendezvous node, and broker nodes.  The rendezvous node comprises a traffic monitoring means which monitors the traffic volume of event information transmitted by a publisher node and a specific event determination means which determines specific event information subjected to the load distribution from among the event information when the traffic volume exceeds a predetermined value.  The broker nodes each comprises a route detection means for the detection of determining if the broker node is the aggregation point node or branch point node of the distribution route of the specific event information and a route construction means which constructs a novel distribution route for the specific event information to pass through the aggregation point node and the branch point node, avoiding the rendezvous node.
