The invention relates to a non-toxic, ecological method devoid of residues for controlling and eliminating fungal and yeast attacks, bacterial and viral infections and insect infestations in plants and to the commercial use of said method for crop protection. Said method is characterised in that: the plants are disinfected using a backpack sprayer (A) or other type of sprayer by means of oxidative radicals, which are electrolytically produced in brine in 2 different electrolysis devices (B) (C), and UV-C light (D), which reduces the microbial charge of pathogens; an ultra-rapid super oxidation of the membranes of pathogens takes place by means of the UV-C light (D) acting as the catalyst; the UV-C light (D) also acts as an insect trap, causing death in high doses, and as a stressor, triggering a gene-elicited systemic immune reaction in the plants, producing plants with a systemic acquired resistance to pathogens; the air-assisted electrostatic spraying technique (E) is indispensable for the complete moistening of all parts of the plant, permitting a satisfactory disinfection and destruction of all pathogens by the oxidative radicals on the plants.
