A METHOD ACHIEVING ON-LINE PRINTING OF VARIABLE CONTENT AND A HYBRID DIGITAL PRINTING SYSTEM

A method achieving on-line printing of variable content on a rotary printer and a hybrid digital printing system are disclosed. The method includes: arranging a multicolor inkjet and digital printing unit(2) on the rotary printer (1); setting a central control unit(3) for controlling a continuous printable matter(5) to be passed through an inkjet region for inkjet heads of the multicolor inkjet and digital printing unit with the same speed as that of the rotary printer; after a control electrical signal for color mark information is received by the multicolor inkjet and digital printing unit, according to control electrical signals for printing position and printing content, ejecting ink from the inkjet heads to form a predetermined character or/and pattern on a predetermined position of the continuous printable matter; according to a control electrical signal for rotary encoding, ejecting ink from the inkjet heads with an inkjet speed adapted to a move speed of the continuous printable matter. Both large run printing and synchronizing on-line printing of the variable content are achieved in the invention.
