A belt type glass tempering system a roller conveyor in tempering zone developed for tempering (toughening) glass products such as bowls or plates made of soda lime, borosilicate or opal glass, the glass products are carried on a wire belt inside the furnace up to the exit point of the said furnace and transferred to the roller conveyor system at this point. The wire belt, which transferred the product to the roller conveyor system, then turns back into the furnace and re-participates in the cycle. The glass product is tempered on the roller conveyor. This system allows up to a 40% saving in the fuel since it is possible to preserve and maintain the heat of the wire belt that carries the glass.
