The present invention relates to a communication device for communicating with a terminal, said device comprising at least two microcircuits (3, 4) connected in parallel to at least one part of a shared communication interface and a means for selecting one of the microcircuits, said selection means (6, 6a, 16) being actuatable by interacting with the outside of the device. The device is characterised in that one of the microcircuits (3) takes priority in establishing communication over the other microcircuit (4) when receiving a signal from the terminal and in that said selection means is used in connecting the priority microcircuit to the interface when said means is actuated.
